James holds the position of CEO & Owner at MIAA. Having directly encountered the knowledge gap experienced by many small, medium, and diverse businesses in the realm of exit strategies, James, along with his wife Nancy, established Mergers, Insights, & Acquisitions. Their aim is to provide guidance and counsel to businesses navigating the intricate and demanding process of mergers and acquisitions.
With a career spanning over 35 years, James has served as Vice President of Finance & Accounting and Chief Procurement Officer at UPS. Furthermore, he held the role of Principal & COO at ASAP Staffing & Solutions Group, successfully orchestrating their exit and M&A strategy.
Active in the community, James actively contributes his time and resources to organizations such as the National Minority Supplier Development Council, Executive Leadership Council, 100 Black Men, and American Diabetes.
